End of the Avatar

Well, the final episode came and went and as expected it was kind of a letdown. Some parts were really good, such as taking the Fire Lords bending and Azula going crazy. However, there just wasn’t enough action.

Katara is such an amazing bender but she had really little to do with the who battle, and Azula was caught way to easy. Iroh had one scene of fire bending and he recaptured the earth kingdom, from the Fire Lord. Too easy.

Where was Hakoda and the rest of the rebellion when this was going on?????

Then suddenly it’s all over, Zuko is going to be crowned Fire Lord, and Mai shows , like nothing happened and her and Zuko will be happy forever. Again all to easy.

Zuko gives this speech about bringing the four nations together again and everyone is happy, but what about the Fire Nation’s people, wouldn’t there be some Fire Lord loyalist? After all the Fire Nation has been the ruling nation for 100 years.

The Katara and Anag kiss at the end, was just too story book. They never explained her confusion about she wouldn’t kiss him before… plus I never liked them hooking up.

In all it was okay… but I feel that both “The Siege of the North” and “The Crossroads of Destiny” episodes where much more dramatic and had more action.

We can only hope that the Airbender movie will bring justice to the series we loved so much.
